  1. What is NMR theory? Is it a magnetic anti-corrosion device?

    • NMR Pipetector uses “NMR Theory” which is different from magnetic device
      Magnetic devices use magnetohydrodynamic, and the water speed that pass through the magnetic field of the magnetic device need 2.0 meters/sec, and if the devices are installed for each faucet, it will fulfill the condition when the faucet is full open.

  3. How NMR Pipetector radiate electro magnetic wave without using external power source?

    • NMR Pipetector is based on black-body radiation theory.
      Black-body radiation theory is the material object generates electromagnetic wave, not having any influence from the outside. Ceramic or charcoal is one of the examples.
      Ceramics is sintered by 1200 degrees Celsius when the process of manufacture, and stock up thermal energy in ceramic, so ceramic can generate wide wavelength wave such as far infrared wave by ceramic itself.
      In addition, charcoal also be carbonized at more than 800 degrees Celsius, therefore charcoal can generate wide wavelength far infrared wave.
      Based on this theory, NMR Pipetector has wave generate material and wavelength balancing material in it and it is designed to generate electromagnetic wave with no external power source, however the former and the latter has a bid difference.
      The former (ceramic or charcoal etc.) can not percolate through material because it has wide wavelength, and the latter (NMR Pipetector) has high quality of percolating material because it has short wavelength and is very close to single wavelength.

  4. Does NMR Pipetector have effect on human body?
    NMR Pipetector does not have any effect on the body of human.
    As NMR Phenomenon is used for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in hospitals, NMR phenomenon is harmless to human bodies. Not like Computerized Tomography scan (CT Scan), it is possible for us to use MRI for long hours.
    Regarding the safeness of electromagnetic wave by NMR Pipetector, it is proved to be safe at the examination by Chemicals Evaluation and Research Institute, Japan.

  5. My family member uses pace maker. Does NMR Pipetector have effect on the person who has pace maker?

    • There is no effect to pace maker by NMR Pipetector.
      Magnetism and electromagnetic wave which are generated outside of the NMR Pipetector is very weak, therefore they have no effect on the outside of the protective cover when we put at the installation of the NMR Pipetector.
      The water passed through NMR Pipetector is also very safe as the human body had NMR exam, and the water is small clustered healthy active water.

  6. Is it safe for us to drink water passed through NMR Pipetector?

    • No problem.
      NMR Pipetector makes water clusters smaller by the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) effect. The small cluster water is similar to water vapor, therefore the water passed through NMR Pipetector has no bad effect on our body.

  7. How long the water passed through NMR Pipetector keep its state?

      • The water passed through NMR Pipetector is become small water cluster and its effect is kept for six to seven hours.
        During that time, water clusters are prevented to be bonded together, and when the water flows by the energy of the pump, separating discharge of hydrated electron is generated and protects the pipe works from corrosion.

  8. Does NMR Pipetector effect depend on the material of the pipe work?

    • NMR Pipetector effect does not matter the material of the pipe work.
      Steel Galvanized Pipe (SGP), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Copper Pipe and Stainless Steel Pipes are commonly used for water pipes, and NMR Pipetector effect does not effected by the material of the pipe work. As to the NMR Pipetector effect of reducing corrosion into magnetite which is not dissolved in water is available for whole area of Steel pipe, and for joint and bimetallic part of the pipe works.
      NMR Pipetector also stops oxidation damage for copper or stainless steel pipes, however NMR Pipetector should not be installed on the lead part of the pipe work..
      Magnetite is not dissolved in water and like stainless steel, magnetite protects pipe works from further corrosion damage.

  9. How much water should we use to have the anti-corrosion effect of NMR Pipetector?

    • The anti-corrosion effect of the NMR Pipetector depends the amount of the water that pass through the device
      If you are experiencing rusty water now, the Fe content in the rusty water is more than 0.3mg/l and there is enough water usage (about 200 to 300 liter a day), it will take about a month to stop the rusty water and Fe content in water.
      However it will take from three month to six month if the ater usage is about 100 liter a day.
      It will need at least a year to analyze the gain of Magnetite content in corrosion.

  10. There is a water leak at the pipe work. Does NMR Pipetector solve water leek?

    • There were many cases that early water leek were stopped.
      If the pipe work already has a hole, you can not expect NMR Pipetector to block up the hole, but if the water leak is small and in early stage, there were many cases that the water leak was stopped because the corrosion inside the pipe work is reduced and forms hard layer of Magnetite. The magnetite protects pipe work from further corrosion.
      Even when the pipe work is already get damaged and old, it is confirmed that further water leak was not found after the installation of NMR Pipetector at more than 1800 applications.
      However, NMR Pipetector effects for the inside the pipe work, not the outside corrosion or damages.

  12. How NMR Pipetector change corrosion into magnetite?

    • Corrosion inside the pipe is formed by the reaction below.
      Iron becomes bivalent iron ion by discharging electron into water (1), and the electron discharged into water react with water and generates hydroxide ion (2). This iron ion and hydroxide ion generates ferrous hydroxide (3).
      Fe→Fe2+ + 2e-
      H2O + 1/2O2 + 2e- → 2OH-
      Fe2+ + 2OH- → Fe(OH)2
      Generated ferrous hydroxide is oxidized to ferric hydroxide (4) and separated out to become corrosion (FeO(OH)) (5).
      2Fe(OH)2 + 1/2O2 + H2O → 2Fe(OH)3
      2Fe(OH)3 + 2FeO(OH)  2H2O
      NMR Pipetector makes small water cluster by NMR phenomenon, and hydrated electron is moved to outside the water cluster. When the small water cluster flow in the pipe work by the pressure of the pump, it discharges the hydrated electron. Hydrated electron reduces corrosion to magnetite and stops further corrosion and rusty water in the pipe work (6).
      6FeO(OH) + 2e- → 2Fe3O4+2H2O + 2OH-
      What you need to notice here is the reaction of corrosion reduced to magnetite is “balanced reaction”. Early stage of magnetite is imbalance and if the supply of hydrated electron is stopped, magnetite generates electron and oxidized to corrosion (oxidation reaction) (7).
      2Fe3O4 + 3H2O + 1/2O2 → 6FeO(OH) + 2e-
      Therefore hydrated electron needs to be supplied until the magnetite layer becomes strong enough. When the enough strength of magnetite layer is built up, it becomes strong, passive state magnetite coated layer.

  13. What is the difference between corrosion and magnetite?

      • Corrosion dissolves in water and damages pipe work or make blockage in the pipe work, on the other hand magnetite is used for bolt or hinge in Japanese traditional buildings such as shrine or temple, and magnetite is also used for pan or kettle. This proves that magnetite is safe material that protects us from corrosion damages.
        Corrosion in water is in unstable and fragile state as it only hydrates one hydrated electron. It dissolves in water and it will cause health damage to us when we consume it too much. In addition to that, corrosion has more than ten times volume than iron, so it causes blockage in the pipe work. On the other hand, Magnetite is strong and does not dissolve in water. Therefore magnetite dos have effect on our health as it was used for pans and kettles from long ago.

  14. Does corrosion have bad effect on human body?

    • If you consume corrosion too much, it might cause health problem.
      Iron is one of the essential elements for human nutrition, and nutrition requirement of iron is estimated from 7 to 48 mg/l a day. Although iron is hardly excreted from the body and there is a possibility that iron might have middle to high level of toxicity. Our body store iron in our organ and body tissue when the normal storage place is full, and it might cause toxic symptom by excess intake of iron.
      It is rare for an adult to have toxic symptom of iron, but excess intake of iron is hazardous for children. Some research shows that when little children intake a lot of iron, it will cause emesis or diarrhea, and it could be fatal when children intake more than 3mg of iron. Additionally, it is hazardous to intake too much iron for pregnancy and breast-feeding woman because infants may have effect of iron through their mother.
      Iron in water is generated by corrosion (FeO(OH)) dissolved in water. Magnetite will not dissolve in water. If we intake too much iron, it will damage our health, from 200 to 250 mg/weight is reach to average lethal amount of iron. Excess intake of iron will cause hemorrhagic necrosis of gastric mucosa and crust formation.
      Magnetite, which protects pipe work from corrosion, is very hard crystallized material, so once corrosion is reduced to magnetite, it will protect pipe work from further corrosion.

  15. Does NMR Pipetector have effect on verdigris of copper pipe?

    • NMR Pipetector can not solve verdigris problem that copper pipe work already have, but it can stop further damage and oxidation of copper pipe work.
      Reducing corrosion to magnetite at the steel pipe work means NMR Pipetector stops further oxidationof the steel in the pipe work. In case of copper pipe, oxidation reaction generates verdigris. This oxidation reaction can be avoided by using NMR Pipetector, however verdigris is not be reduced so verdigris will not be reduced even NMR Pipetector supply hydrated electron. Therefore NMR Pipetector can not solve verdigris that already formed in the pipe work, however mechanism of verdigris oxidation is same as iron oxidation, so by supplying hydrated electron using NMR Pipetector, it can stop further oxidation damage in the copper pipe works.
      In the meanwhile, pitting corrosion, which pinhole appears on the copper pipe work, the mechanism how this occurs has not revealed yet.
      Pitting corrosion may be caused by oxidation damage, but if this is caused by another reason, we can not state if NMR Pipetector can solve this problem.

  16. Does NMR Pipetector have effect on calcium scale?

    • NMR Pipetector gain water resolvability and prevents scale deposit.
      The water passed through NMR Pipetector become small clustered water, and it has 20% more surface area than usual, so normally NMR Pipetector can prevent scale deposit in water pipe work. Although NMR Pipetector has no effect on the scale that are already deposited because scale (CaCo3) has almost no water resolvability.
      As to the circulation pipe work, scale component does not evaporates in air but stays in circulated water, so there scale component in water gradually increase.
      When the density of scale component is thickened too much, the water need to be refilled.
      If the water does not be refilled, scale component cannot dissolve in water and appears as scale deposit to the pipe work.
